Ryan St, West ENd
About Ryan St
Located on a 396sqm corner site, the site had it all, character code conditions, overland flow, river flooding, two stormwater underground services, and a sewer line and two stormwater manholes, and a great address with a wonderful Northeast and Southeast aspect.
The design for this house had to take into consideration so many external issues, civil, town planning and the alike, however the focus was always the home, its functionality, how the house was to address both street frontages, aspect, and view corridors and sustainability.
The result is a striking design response with a sailing skillion roof, and use of varying materials that when combined enhance every facet of the facade expressing the individual elements of the structure in balance with lighting and landscaping to create a harmonious connection to the sites geographical location, and WOW factor.
